Marabu hat im letzten Jahr sein IHE-Leistungsspektrum deutlich erweitert und konnte damit seine führende Rolle in der IHE-Umsetzung weiter stärken.

Neben dem Ausbau von IHE XDS-Basisfunktionen wie dem Document Administrator, asynchronen Webservices und dem ATNA Repository wurde das Profil zur Kommunikation von Patientenzustimmungen (BPPC) implementiert. Darüber hinaus wurde ein Konsument für DICOM-Objekte erfolgreich getestet und das Portfolio um Funktionen zum Dokument- und DICOM-Austausch über Domaingrenzen hinweg erweitert (XCDR, XCA).

Dokumente und Bilddaten können nun domänenübergreifend ausschließlich mittels PEGASOS-Komponenten kommuniziert werden. Damit ist insbesondere das Szenario zur externen IHE-Archivierung von Patientenakten abbildbar.

Außerdem beschreitet Marabu auf der Basis von FHIR (REST Webservices) neue Wege: Neben dem Abruf von Patientendaten über HL7v2 (PDQ) können Patientendaten in PEGASOS nun auch über das mobile-Interface (PDQm) abgerufen werden. „Dieses erste FHIR-Profil stellt den Ausgangspunkt für weitere Dienste für mobile Geräte dar. Zukünftig werden wir weitere Profile insbesondere zum Abruf von Dokumenten für andere App-Hersteller anbieten“, berichtet Carsten Schulze, Entwicklungsleiter bei Marabu.

This year, Marabu was once again able to successfully test the application of new IHE profiles in large-scale test scenarios at the Connectathon, this time from 3 to 7 April in Venice. In front of the impressive backdrop of the Italian Serenissima we had the chance to give proof of the interoperability of our IT system.

In the last year, Marabu significantly expanded its range of IHE services and was able to further strengthen its leading role in IHE implementation.

In addition to the expansion of IHE basic functions such as Document Administrator, asynchronous Webservices and an ATNA Repository, the profile for the communication of patients consents (BPPC) was implemented. Furthermore a consumer for DICOM objects was successfully tested and the portfolio has been extended by the functions for cross-domain document and DICOM exchange (XCDR, XCA).

This enables the cross-domain communication for documents and image data using only PEGASOS components and allows, in particular, the realization of a scenario for external IHE archiving of patient records.

On top of that, Marabu is breaking new ground on the basis of FHIR (REST Webservices). In addition to the retrieval of patient data via HL7v2 (PDQ), patient data in PEGASOS can now also be accessed via the mobile interface (PDQm).

Die IHE-Connectathons sind jährlich stattfindende Events, auf denen unterschiedliche Anbieter von Healthcare IT-Lösungen die Interoperabilität ihrer Systeme unter realistischen Bedingungen testen können. Connectathons gibt es in Europa, den USA und in Asien, der europäische Event fand 2017 in Venedig statt. Hauptziel der Veranstaltung ist es, die Integration von auf IHE-Basis standardisierten Lösungen in auf dem Markt präsenten Healthcare IT-Systemen zu befördern.

The IHE Connectathons are annual events where various providers of healthcare IT solutions are able to test the interoperability of their systems under realistic conditions. Connectathons are hosted in Europe, the USA and Asia. In 2017, the European event took place in Venice. The main objective of the events is to promote the adoption of the standards-based interoperability solutions defined by IHE in commercially available healthcare IT systems.
